Like the Wicked Witch of the West threatening her pretties in Munchkinland, I present to you: my FUGLIES!

Seeing as it’s been nearly a year since I’ve updated this blog, I figured I would do a larger scale photoshoot for the fugs. Despite my best efforts, I actually captured something cinematic this time! This is my favourite snap (of mine) of all time. I call it, “Ambush at the Pond”.

It features four travelers running into Krull’s Host. I almost always set my DSLR’s focal length to be the longest possible for any distance I’m shooting at, but something came over me and I got creative this time. Really happy with it! Here is a photo of what the scene looks like in focus:

Since my post in August of last year, I’ve also managed to paint 3 additional cow-men. The Host swells! I photographed them a while ago, but never posted the shots. I’m elated to be feeling the paint mojo once more. It’s been a long dry spell.

Right now the plan is to finish Krull’s Host before finally getting back to my 6mm collection. I’ve got 4 more Fuglies, 10 or so cow-men, and 4 more big bulls to finish. I’m recommitting to posting here more regularly, so hopefully I can finish the force before 2024.
