Famous By Our Swords

In honour of my good friend Eoin’s upcoming tabletop wargame release, I’m finally publishing this blog post. In fact, his first rule book is already available for purchase.

The forthcoming follow-up, “Clash of Banners”, upgrades players from measly warbanding twirps, to full-fledged army commanders. The game is set in Túath, a fantasy world characterized by rich lore, including the aftermath of a cataclysmic event that split the land and the fall of an empire.

There are even two miniatures available from the universe available for purchase right now. They were hand sculpted by the insanely talented Talos Miniatures.

The first of the two was Horatius Fulminator; a legitimately sick miniature with Perry like proportions.

Before there was a sculpt, there was a sketch:

Here is my take on the first miniature of the run: Horatius

And here he is hanging out with a group of villains. In my collection Horatius will serve as a subject of Krull, perhaps filling the role of first lieutenant.

Clash of Banners looks to have some unique campaign rules for those seeking long-term tabletop story-telling opportunities.

The book includes rules for making your own regiments of renown, spliting armies into divisions, and speccing out specialized retinues for your commander. Dive into the enthralling universe of Túath, a realm forged by conflict and shaped by the echoes of a shattered empire. "Famous By Our Swords: Clash of Banners" invites you to command your destiny in a world teeming with dark magic, ancient lore, and unyielding warfare. There is a third miniature in the works. So far all we have is some concept art to fetishize:
